The Shore Patrol

This dramatised Royal Navy film from the early 1980's follows the Type 42 destroyer HMS Glasgow (D88) and showcases the work of the Navy Service Police. The story centres on one of the ship’s cooks who is temporarily seconded to the Regulating Branch, demonstrating Service Police procedures both ashore in Portsmouth and later during the ship’s deployment to Hong Kong.
