Cain and Abel, Understanding Scripture

On today's program of Understanding Scripture, we go Diggin' Deeper into Cain and Abel. This story is the first murder in human history but there's a much bigger theological meaning behind the murder as there is a family connection involved but also, a lesson that speaks to worship, the nature of sin, human responsibility, and even the gospel itself. 🔁 Abel prefigures Christ — the innocent one, rejected and murdered by his brother (humanity), whose blood leads not to revenge but to redemption.
