We know God by what reveals to us.
Parenthood at Christmas!
We know that God loves Jesus
Luke 3:22“You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”
We also know that God loves us…
Psalm 103:-13-14The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. 14 For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.”
John 3:16 -“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
no greater expression of love
to be born like us,
live with us,
die for us,
come back to life to bring us salvation
“For God so loved the world”
there was no real reason for Him to do so!
“That He gave His one and only Son”:
first proof of God’s love for us.
Jesus didn’t stay in a grave
“That everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life:”
