Daniel Salter ultimately held a Cosmic clearance, 38 levels above Top Secret, dealing specifically with UFOs, Extraterrestrials and particlization (the science behind time-travel).

He quickly rose to Chief Master Sargeant in the USAF before joining the highly classified NRO in 1969.

During his career, he worked under the mathematical genius Benoit Mandlebrot, as a Conrad Courier under President Eisenhower, as a member of Project Blue Book and one of the early teams of Men in Black, and within the Interplanetary Phenomenon Scientific and Technical Counterintelligence Unit (IPU) and the Development of Conscious Contact Citizenry Department (DCCCD).
