That's What Love Can Do

This is the way that I’ve always felt,
Not meant to ride that conveyor belt,
Every day…
And every night…

We all make our own reality,
Built around our family,
With an eye on our destiny,
That’s what love can do…

Who I am without the work I do,
Without the fear of my economy,
What I value when I’m all alone,
When no one else is around,

Just how do I operate,
Not division with a garden gate,
Not a question of love or hate,
But what I do that makes it mine,

Not productivity or self-achievement,
Not what I look like on a paper chart,
I’m less about my role,
And more about my essence,

The building of my soul,
The standing of my presence,

So who am I in my integrity,
Reveals my emotional maturity,
And what my purpose and my value can be,
That’s gonna set me free,

I will choose integration,
There is no fear of future,
With the intention of what I know is true,
When I have love in all the things that I do,
When I love all the things that I do…
