Plot Summary
In a plague-ravaged West, Sarah, a recently freed slave, convinces skeptical physician Dr. Bender to guide her and her white daughter—who kills everything she touches—to a distant faith healer, Preacher Ross. Torn between Sarah's conviction of demonic possession and the doctor's belief in a deadly sickness, they face violence, paranoia, and supernatural dread across hostile deserts. The journey tests faith, science, and survival as townsfolk and bounty hunters pursue the "wicked" child.
