Prayer for the 4th Week of Advent

Loving Father,
as this holy season of Advent draws to its fullness,
we thank You for the gifts You have placed before us,
Hope that anchors us,
Peace that steadies us,
and Joy that rises from knowing You are near.
We fix our eyes upon Your Son, Jesus Christ,
Love made flesh.
He came among us in humility,
He grew in obedience and grace,
and He loves us so completely
that He gave His life for our salvation—
yet chose not to leave us alone.
In the quiet miracle of the Eucharist,
He remains with us,
pure Love in a living embrace,
nourishing our souls and drawing us ever closer to His Heart.
Prepare us now, Lord,
to receive You worthily on Christmas Day.
Cleanse our hearts, awaken our faith,
and teach us to love You in return—
not only with words,
but by lives shaped by Your commandments
and hearts attentive to Your presence.
May Hope, Peace, and Joy remain within us,
and may Love guide all we do,
as we welcome Christ anew
and walk with Him each day.

V/. The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary,
R/. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you;
blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death.

V/. Behold the handmaid of the Lord,

V/. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,

Let us pray. Pour forth, we beseech you, O Lord, your grace into our hearts: that we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ your Son was made known by the message of an Angel, may by his Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of his Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
