Original Draft of SINGLE MOTHER: Chapter 24

SCRIPT:
Sarah was shocked, but hugged Sienna back.

It was then Sienna took a step back, and smiled.

"Surprise", Sienna said, while doing jazz hands.

Sienna stared at her daughter, genuinely wondering what she was doing here.

"I don't understand. It's nice to see you Sienna, but why aren't you in college?", Sarah asked.

"Because I dropped out", Sienna said while smiling innocently.

"Dropped out?!", Sienna responded in shock.

"Yeah. It's not for me. I rather actually make money than learn stuff for a job, that won't pay me what I'm worth", Sienna said.

Sarah stared at Sienna in utter disbelief.

Sarah knew her daughter wasn't too bright, but this was a new level of stupid.

"Sienna I spent so much money for you to go to college", Sarah said, a bit angry.

"And I'll pay you back when I'm rich & famous, I swear", Sienna responded while smiling.

Sienna was baffled how oblivious Sienna was to reality.

"So anyway, where's Billy? I want to say hello", Sienna said.

"Your brother's in school", Sarah answered, still in shock that all the money she spent putting Sienna in college was wasted.

Sarah could really use all that money now. She wouldn't have had to suck her landlord's dick if she did have it.

"Oh okay. I'll wait here until he gets back so I can say hello", Sienna said before walking over to the couch and sitting down.

"Hey mom, do you have a spare bedroom?", Sienna asked.

Sarah just stared at Sienna, as the disbelief piled onto more disbelief.

"No Sienna, I don't", Sarah answered, numb with shock.

"Are you asking because you want to move in here?", Sarah asked.

Just then, Sienna stood up and smiled wider.

"Well if you insist mom, sure. I can keep you and Billy company. Now which room will be mine?", Sienna asked, eyeing both bedroom doors.

"Neither", Sarah responded coldly.

"Sienna, why do want to move in? You were so excited to leave for college, and now you want to come back and live with me? What happened in college? Why don't you get a motel?", Sarah asked, upset with her daughter.

"Woah, too many questions at once", Sienna said while making a funny face.

"But I'll answer your questions mom, no problem", Sienna said before cracking her neck, and stretching, preparing herself to tell her mom the truth.

Sarah just stared at Sienna, like Sienna was retarded.

"I was going to college, until I met with some guys who were working in the entertainment industry. One thing lead to another, and I joined them, while dropping out of college. They had me doing commercials, while promising me a fortune. They were my managers, and collected all the money I earned. They said I would eventually get paid, so I waited, until they flaked on me, and took all the money I earned. And now, I don't know where they are, and I'm left broke. Like super broke. Like I need to move in back with you mom, kind of broke", Sienna explained, while looking at her mother for an answer.

Sarah said nothing, as she just stared at her in more disbelief than she thought was imaginable.

"Let me get this straight. I work hard to put you in college, but then some random guys promise you fame & fortune, so you dropped out?", Sarah asked, a tad bit furious.

"It was a lot of money that they were talking about mom. And I did do the commericals. Any sensible person would drop out of school, and take the money", Sienna said while shrugging, not seeing what she did as a big deal.

"No they wouldn't Sienna, because they would see it as a scam, which it oblivious was", Sarah tried to explain to her daughter.

Sienna rolled her eyes.

"Whatever mom. What's done is done. Now which room do I get?", Sienna asked once more.

Sarah was irritated with her daughter's entitlement.

"I already told you, neither", Sarah answered, more annoyed now.

Sienna pouted.

"You can't expect me to sleep in the living room", Sienna said.

"I didn't expect you to even be here today Sienna. I don't know where to put you", Sarah said to her.

"Just give me Billy's room, and tell him to sleep out here", Sienna suggested, uncaring for her little brother.

Sarah shut her eyes in irritance.

"I'm not doing that Sienna", Sarah said annoyed.

"Fine, then give me your room", Sienna said, as if it was tr obvious answer.

"I'm not doing that Sienna", Sarah responded, in disbelief at how dumb her daughter really was.

"This bitch needs college", Sarah thought.

"Then where do I sleep mom?! I can't live out here in the living room?!", Sienna asked, now more bratty and angry.

Sarah exhaled a deep sigh of annoyance.

Sarah was not in the mood for this shit, especially after getting her face fucked by her landlord.

"Look, we'll deal with this after I get home from work. For now, just get comfortable. I have to go", Sarah said, before heading for the door, focused more on her first day of her new job, instead of her stupid ass daughter.

"Wait mom!", Sienna called out to her mother.

"What?', Sarah asked.

"Can you buy me some Takis when you come back? I love Takis", Sienna asked.

Sarah rolled her eyes in annoyance, before ignoring her daughter, as she exited out of her own apartment, and closed the door.

"Is that a yes?", Sienna asked, now by herself in the apartment.

Sienna then looked around the apartment before saying, "This place is so ghetto".

Sienna then laid on the couch, pulled out her phone, and began not doing shit for the next several hours, as she scrolled through EdynTok, watching pretty boys flip their hair.

"So hot & talented", Sienna muttered.
