Plot overview
Mimosa, a modest girl about to be engaged, visits Rome’s Cinecittà studios to audition as an extra and is unexpectedly chosen for a grand American epic shooting there. Swept into a long, surreal night with an eccentric movie star, a reckless leading man, and a domineering director, she navigates glamour, desire, and danger while discovering her own voice and desires. By dawn, the once‑invisible girl returns home changed, having glimpsed both the magic and cruelty of the dream factory.
