2 Timothy 1-4 Explained | Fan the Flame | 12/24/25

In today’s reading from 2 Timothy, Paul reminds us what it looks like to live with godly confidence—called by God’s will, anchored in His purpose, and unashamed of the gospel even in suffering. Timothy is urged to fan into flame the gift within him, to reject fear, and to endure hardship with self-control and love. We’re also called to avoid empty arguments, pursue unity in love, and stay faithful to the truth in the last days—doing the work God has given us with gentleness and courage.
