First Night to Last Light🕯🕎✡️✝️

Celebrating Hanukkah for the very first time in 2025. I've been a "Christian" all my life, sunday school, church, youth group, Christian school, Christian College, etc, but I was never taught to honor the Holy Feasts and Festivals of our Lord. I was never taught that the Torah really mattered much because Jesus came and said "It is Finished."

IT MATTERS INCREDIBLY!!!

Over the past year, the Holy Spirit has opened my eyes and ears 👀👂🏼to how He WANTS to be honored and worshipped, and is NOT by the traditional holidays of man!In fact, Jesus NEVER told us to celebrate His birthday in the Bible. Why do you think Jesus' birthday was never mentioned in the Bible. Actually, birthdays celebrations were only talked about twice in the Bible and not it a good way. They were both by evil men. In reality, celebrating birthdays is just selfish, self-centered and narcissistic and the focus is taken completely off of The Creator and esteeming the creation instead. Andrew and I have decided to really downplay our birthdays now and to make sure that the Lord is thanked and included in anything we do.Instead of celebrating Jesus' birth, which we were not commanded to do anyway, we decided to celebrate Hanukkah or The Feast of Dedication, during which Jesus was actually conceived! And since science has shown us that at the moment of conception when a new life is formed there is a bright flash of light, it has an even more beautiful meaning behind the name "Festival of Lights". Jesus quite literally lit up a world in darkness and silence from God from the very moment He was conceived. Now THAT is worth celebrating!!

And in case you NEEDED ANOTHER REASON to celebrate Hanukkah🕎 over celebrating Christmas,🎄 JESUS CELEBRATED HANUKKAH, and He told us to follow Him and do what He did.He also told us that if we love Him, we will keep His Commandments. He commanded us to keep The Law and told us when He comes back that the Law and Feasts and Festivals will be going out to the whole world!🌎 So ya might as well abandon the ways of the world and turn back to the ways of Yeshua Hamashiach now!
