Christmas Eve 2025

Have we become so familiar with the Christmas story that we've missed its breathtaking truth? The infinite God didn't ask us to climb a ladder to reach Him—He descended to us.

Think about this: The One who upholds the entire universe by the word of His power humbled Himself to become a single cell in Mary's womb. He experienced every stage of human development, yet never stopped holding all creation together. He wasn't born in a palace but in a manger, announced not to kings but to shepherds.

As John tells us, "The Word was with God, and the Word was God...and the Word became flesh." This Christmas, let's not let familiarity dull the wonder of what we celebrate. God stepped out of eternity into time—not so we could reach up to Him, but so He could reach down to heal us, save us, and transform us to be more like Christ.

That's the true miracle of Christmas.
