Plot Summary
Best friends Nick Schuyler and Will Bleakley join NFL players Marquis Cooper and Corey Smith for a deep-sea fishing trip 70 miles off Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. Their boat capsizes in a sudden storm while freeing a stuck anchor, stranding the four in freezing waters amid massive waves, hypothermia, dehydration, and sharks. US Coast Guard Captain Timothy Close battles worsening weather for rescue as the men chant "I get strong, you get strong" in their desperate fight.
