The world-famous melody by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych — *Shchedryk*, written in 1916 — became the foundation of this project. Over time, *Shchedryk* evolved into one of the most recognizable Christmas melodies in history. Following the tours of the Ukrainian Republican Capella in the 1920s, the music captivated audiences across Europe and the United States, and in 1936 it received English lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky — giving rise to what the world now knows as *Carol of the Bells*.

In this work, **Phoenix Art Studio** presents its own original interpretation of the legendary composition in an epic, cinematic form. This is not merely an arrangement, but an artistic reimagining in which the classical melody merges with modern orchestral scale, atmospheric sound design, and visual storytelling.

This clip is a tribute to the Ukrainian composer and to a cultural heritage that continues to resonate across time, borders, and generations — reminding us of light, hope, and the enduring power of music to unite the world.
