THE SPECIAL BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT

9 And [a]behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

GOOD EVENING AND MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE IN YESHUA MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS!!! Twas the night before Christmas, and in the Saddler's apartment, lots of creatures are stirring, especially one who's having an early dinner. How is everybody doing tonight? I pray that your Christmas Eve is going well, that hopefully you got to spend time in the House of God, that you're getting your back on, and that you're getting to spend this precious Christmas with those that you really truly love. But most of all guys, I pray that you don't forget the real reason why we celebrate. The birth of our savior, who came in human form, wriggling, screaming, and crying in a stable, placed in a Manger, with swaddling clothes for His outfit, to redeem us from our sins.

I marvel every time I read this morning scripture, because every time I do read it I learn something new, especially through my pastor Joe Focht, and the one thing I learned about this passage of scripture that I didn't know before, was that aside from the fact that these shepherds were despised in society, which I'll go into later. These shepherds were responsible for the temple sheep. They were the ones that took care of all the lambs that would be used for all the important sacrifices, including Passover. I thought about that and the questions from this morning's devotional, and I have to say guys all of it blew my mind. I gotta share these questions with you guys, and I pray that what I share challenges your heart, and get you to thinking about why we celebrate.

Tonight, my friends, I'm feeling very led of the Lord to share some things that God has shown me not just about this passage of scripture, but about why these shepherds were chosen to share the most wonderful announcement of all time, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you truly listen. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you take the time to think about this grand news that these shepherds were told, and how this news is for everyone, and we need to be sharing it. Most of all guys, we need to learn to accept this news, this precious good news, because it's news that we all need, and it's worth sharing. The shepherds were able to accept it, and I pray today that we can as well. To those that don't know Christ, I want to invite you right now to experience receiving the greatest gift of all time and that is the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus! It's a free gift that you can't earn, but it's one that was given at great cost, and that was the precious shed blood of Jesus. Realize that you are a Sinner, that your sin separates you from God, but that there is a way of escape, and that is through the free gift that God offers through his son Jesus, and I pray that you take it today.
