All I ever wanted for Christmas the tree in the mall.. 🎄

When I was a little boy, our Christmas tree was about four feet tall… aluminum… with a color wheel spinning red, yellow, blue, and green like a disco in the living room. 🎄

But every year, I’d go to the mall and stare at that tree — the big one that touched the ceiling — and I told myself, One day, I’m gon’ have me a mall tree.

Fast forward.
In my house, we got a rule. If it ain’t tall enough to make you look up, it don’t belong in here. Ceilings 24, 30 feet high… that tree better be reaching for heaven. And my wife Marjorie? That’s her assignment — get the biggest tree they make. Period.

They start growing my Christmas trees five years out. I already know what next year’s tree looks like. They done sent me pictures. 😂
I don’t need nothing under it. No gifts. No boxes.

All I want for Christmas…
is that big ol’ mall tree I promised that little boy a long time ago.
