Heading for Heaven, 1947

Stuart Erwin portrays a real estate agent who has a lot of property that hasn't sold for generations despite the town's growth. Except for Erwin, everyone learns that the property is being considered for the new airport and that the owner will receive a small fortune. Erwin is quickly persuaded by a dishonest swami and his similarly dishonest business partner, that he doesn't have much time left. He leaves his family and house since his life is in disarray.
