The Signalman 1976

The Signalman (1976) is a BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens’ ghost story, directed by Lawrence Gordon Clark, adapted by Andrew Davies, and starring Denholm Elliott. Part of the BBC’s A Ghost Story for Christmas strand, it explores isolation, premonition, and the supernatural on a lonely Victorian railway line.
