Bowne Report:

In Brussels, Belgium, thousands of farmers from across the EU including Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Germany drove around 1,000 tractors into the city center. They blocked major roads around the EU institutions, threw potatoes and eggs at police, lit fires, burned tires, and set off fireworks.

Police responded with tear gas and water cannons. The farmers were protesting the proposed EU Mercosur free trade deal with South American countries including Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. The deal will flood Europe with cheaper imports produced under lower standards, devastating local farms and generational livelihoods.

Broader EU agricultural policies, high costs, regulations, and subsidy issues have also plagued UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer's race toward a dictatorship. In the shadowed corridors of global power, where the elites plot their insidious agenda the walls have finally begun closing in.
