Salt Lake County DA dismissed murder charges against Arturo Gamboa

Retired Salt Lake County Sheriff's Deputy/UPD officer Phil Snyder gives an analysis of a Salt Lake City man Arturo Gamboa's unlawful arrest in connection with a June 2025, No Kings Protest shooting. On December 3, 2025, DA Sim Gill dismissed the murder and all other charges against Gamboa and the Peacekeeper is now facing an alleged charged of manslaughter now. The Peacekeeper Matt Alder is presumed to be innocent of the charges until proven guilty in court.
