What are the similarities and differences between the Shema of Deuteronomy 6:4 and the “Lord’s prayer” of Matthew 6:9 to 15 and Luke 11:2 to 4?
How have modern so-called “bible translations” rendered these verses?
“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.” (Matthew 6:7, KJV)
