The colder temperatures paid off! We've gained an half inch of ice overnight. Temperatures will dip to the -15C range tonight hopefully increasing the thickness again. Tomorrow the day time temperature and the overnight temperatures into Monday won't be cold enough for accumulation. A significant percipitation event is in the forecast. It's unclear if we'll get snow, rain or freezing rain on Sunday and Monday. If the percipitation is all rain, we could see the lake wash back to a slushy mess on top of the ice already accumulated.
