"Warning Shot" is about a message on the old school rap vs new school rap debate, and what staying so ingrained in the culture gets you. This genre wouldn't evolve; it would stagnate, and with no new faces, talent, or sounds, it would slowly decay away.

I believe this message needs to get out to the public, especially, to the one who is championing the opposite, @blackpawnforallintents , and the Redditors.

You could say this is the unofficial fourth diss track in our ongoing underground hip hop beef, alternative rap vs old school.

This diss war started because he would rather continue making 80-90s rap without innovating at all, no disrespect to the rap of that time, but we must keep evolving.
