Note: "Wowee, where's your big red suit and beard Santa? You just gave them a gift! - Gene Siskel. Yes, the infamous "Cop and a Half"/'The Opposite Sex and How to Live With Them" episode is here in High Quality. Unfortunately, when I found it from Don Gorelick's recording, it was missing Siskel's cue and the last part of "Video Pick of the Week" with "Paper Moon" (1973). So, I filled in the gaps using Larry Koehn's recording from his now defunct website and it's complete!

Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert reviews "Cop and a Half" (I guess I can't blame Ebert for recommending it because I happen to love it too as a guilty pleasure. Burt Reynolds was a great as a tough Florida cop out to capture Ray Sharkey and his henchman from drugs and murder and a pint-size Axel Foley type, Norman D. Golden II want to be a cop and become partners. Directed By: the Fonz himself, Henry Winkler.); "The Adventures of Huck Finn" (Extraordinary Adventure and Great Adaptation of Mark Twain's Story about a plucky young boy helping out a black slave and other crazy antics.); "Jack The Bear" (Very Underrated and Compelling Coming of Age Drama about a struggling actor as a Horror Movie Host and a widowed father doing his best to take care of his young boys including Jack whose the centered of the story. Starring: Danny DeVito in his best performance along with Reese Witherspoon, Julia Louis-Dreyfus from "Seinfeld" and Gary Sinise.) "The Opposite Sex and How To Live With Them" (Can't blame Siskel & Ebert, it was a horrible raunchy comedy about a young couple falling in love in a weird way. Starring: Arye Gross, Courtney Cox, Kevin Pollack, Julie Brown and Steven Brill.) and "Intervista".

Video Pick of the Week: Siskel's pick is the Academy Award-Winning Comedy and Drama, "Paper Moon" (1973). Starring: Ryan O'Neal and Tatum O'Neal who was the first child to win an Oscar. And a recap of Today's program.

Recorded on KATU ABC 2 in Portland, Oregon with Commercials intact.
