Plot Overview
Paranoid Delusion: George Jones (Sullivan), a bedridden man recovering from a heart attack, becomes pathologically convinced that his wife Ellen (Young) and his doctor are conspiring to kill him.
The Incriminating Letter: Seeking revenge, George writes a letter to the District Attorney outlining the supposed murder plot.
The Race Against Time: Unaware of its contents, Ellen mails the letter for him. Shortly after, George dies of natural causes. Realizing the letter will now falsely implicate her in his death, Ellen spends the rest of the film in a desperate, panic-stricken attempt to retrieve it from the postal system.
