In the book of Ezra, the Israelites were returning from captivity in ancient Babylon but, while in captivity, many of the Israelite men had married non-Israelite women and had children with them. Ecclesiastes 1:9 "The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." After the Arab Slave Trade, the Transatlantic Slave Trade, etc., the Israelites/the black slave descendants are in captivity again and making children with non-Israelites again -- it's a common ill effect of captivity. Ezra and the Israelites solved the problem by doing away with all of the foreign women and their mixed children ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF YAH until the wrath of YAH had ceased from among Israel and the matter was resolved (Ezra 10:3 and Ezra 10:14). Today, many Israelites will say, "you are what your father is" but if that's true, why were the children WITH ISRAELITE FATHERS rejected in Ezra 9-10 (Ezra 10:2-5)? Because BLACK WOMEN MATTER/ISRAELITE WOMEN MATTER. When you say, "You are what your father is" you're saying, "Your mother doesn't matter;" it is used as an excuse by Israelite men who want to have sexual relations/make babies with non-black/non-Israelite women. Leviticus 26:38 "And you (Israel) shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up." We are being eaten up/consumed through inter-nation/interracial coupling and many other forms of self-destruction, but as YAH helped our ancestors, He will also help us. Remember Malachi 2:11-12 "Judah has profaned the holiness of YAH which he loved, and has married the daughter of a strange god. YAH will cut off the man that does this..." Now, while it's true that black/Israelite women can be idolators, they are NOT "daughters of a strange god" -- they are daughters of YAH who choose to worship a strange god instead; YAH and Israel have many rebellious children who have broken the covenant and pursue gentiles and the strange gods of the gentiles, but the children of Israel are married to the Most High, YAH whether they choose to acknowledge it or not (Jeremiah 3:14, Jeremiah 3:20, et cetera). The Israelites/black slave descendants are currently living under the curses of the covenant as punishment for breaking their marriage vows to YAH (Leviticus 26:14-39 and Deuteronomy 28:15-68). Deuteronomy 7:3 is YAH's Law against interracial marriage (particularly against Israelites marrying gentiles/non-Israelites); the sin of idolatry is preceded by the sin of interracial/inter-nation mingling as expressed in Deuteronomy 7:3-4 -- in other words, mixing with gentiles (making covenants with them, making babies with them, etc.) leads to idolatry. Nehemiah refers to Deuteronomy 7:3 when he rebukes intermingling Israelites in Nehemiah 13:23-25. This is also a major problem addressed in Ezra 9-10: "The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations...for they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: SO THAT THE HOLY SEED HAVE MINGLED THEMSELVES WITH THE PEOPLE OF THOSE LANDS: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers has been chief in this TRESPASS." (Ezra 9:1-2) Now, Psalms 78 is a Psalm of Asaph -- Asaph was a prominent Levite musician who king David appointed to oversee the music and singing before the Ark of the Covenant (1 Chronicles 15:19 and 1 Chronicles 16:5). In 1 Chronicles 25:1-2, Asaph is described as David's private prophet/seer. Asaph's descendants, known as the "sons of Asaph," were also official musicians as per Ezra 2:41. Psalms 50 and Psalms 73-83 are all attributed to Asaph. Although Psalms 78:1-2 is followed by Psalms 126:1-5 in this video, the author of Psalms 126 is an anonymous Israelite.
