Plot and Themes
The Murder: The story begins with the discovery of a young woman's body, Sapphire, who was stabbed to death in a London park.
The Mystery: As Superintendent Hazard (Nigel Patrick) and Inspector Leroy (Michael Craig) investigate, they discover that Sapphire was a biracial student "passing" as white.
