The Yigdal (יִגְדַּל) is a song or hymn written by the Dayan (Torah judge) of Rome by the name of Daniel ben Yehuda around the year 1300 CE. It is song or recited every morning as part of our Shacharit prayers. It is based on the 13 Principles of Judaism as laid forth by the Rambam, Moses Maimonides. It is a beautiful praise to HaShem and I hope you enjoy my rendition of it. I created the video using Suno.
