I had one of the most powerful nights of my life last night. I pressed into the Lord for clarity and a vision of what lies ahead. What I received was more than a fleeting image—it was a sustained visitation, rich in detail and unmistakably personal. I can’t unpack everything yet, but there are things I can say with confidence. A season is shifting. 2026 is being positioned as a year where a remnant rises with fresh purpose, protection, and authority.

What it means to be the Lord's Honor Guard

When I speak of becoming the Lord's Honor Guard, I mean a rise in assignment and a sharpening of role. This isn’t about celebrity or spectacle. It’s about preparation, discipline, and readiness to step into decisive moments. The Lord is enlarging an ecclesia—a focused, consecrated group—so we can operate with tactical clarity in the spiritual battles that are increasing in intensity.

That calling includes:

Increased discernment—seeing through deception and holding fast to truth.
Greater boldness—moving in prophetic authority and spiritual warfare.
Relentless faith—not giving in to discouragement when seasons are hard.
The trumpet principle: Shofar in your mouth

There are two sides to every trumpet. On one side, a faithful remnant blows the shofar; on the other, the enemy hears and becomes chaotic. Think Gideon: when the remnant blew, confusion fell into the enemy’s camp. Your voice is that shofar. When you declare God’s purposes, you disrupt the enemy’s plans and release God’s shalom into circumstances.

Practical reminder: speak. Use your voice like a shofar. Declare the Word. Do not let fear or passivity keep you quiet. That simple obedience places you on the right side of the horn.

Deception intensifies—prepare your discernment

We are entering shallow waters of illusion that will deepen. We must be awake to manufactured narratives, false signs, and engineered crises. There will be strategies of confusion—cultural, technological, and spiritual—meant to distract and divide. A prophetic voice warned of a Trojan horse unbridled across nations: a deceptive gift with a hidden agenda.

How to stand firm:

Anchor in Scripture. The Word is unchanging and will expose half-truths and lies.
Pray for the spirit of discernment. Ask for the Sons of Issachar anointing—wisdom to read times and seasons.
Test every narrative against God’s character. If it contradicts the fruit of the Spirit or the clear teaching of Scripture, reject it.
Not tea drinkers—this is trench work

There is a contrast between those content to sip tea while pleasant music plays and those called to the front lines. The war in the spirit demands people who can enter the cut, rescue the wounded, and hold ground. The remnant is not passive. We are tactical, skilled, and prepared to disciple, train, and fortify the harvest so new believers don’t become confused or weaponized by half-truths.

Practical spiritual disciplines for 2026

To be ready for what is on the horizon, adopt rhythms that strengthen you:

Daily scripture intake. Not merely reading—meditate, proclaim, and apply.
Consistent prayer and intercession. Ask for wisdom, then act on it.
Confession and forgiveness work. Even a small grain of unforgiveness will hinder blessing. Ask God to reveal and remove it.
Community sharpening. Surround yourself with fellow believers who will speak truth and train you for battle.
Declarations to carry into the year

Here are declarations I’ve been making and inviting you to receive. Say them with faith and let them anchor your expectations for 2026:

Divine Mercy surrounds you: Mercy opens doors and rewrites delays into testimonies.
Ordered steps: Your processes will be guided; results will confirm God’s hand.
Protection and preservation: You are shielded from sudden battles and preserved in your going out and coming in.
Testimonies and harvest: Delayed blessings will begin to manifest and speak on your behalf.
Freedom from past trauma: By the blood of Jesus, every small grain of bitterness and unforgiveness is broken off.
War, refinement, and the sanctified life

These last months have been intense for many. Trials have exposed weak foundations and forced hard choices. That refining work is painful but purposeful. God often strips, reinforces, and resets so that a new assignment can move forward without what would hinder it. If you feel tested, remember: testing proves what is true about your faith and prepares you for greater authority.

Keep your eyes fixed forward. When darkness intensifies, the light that rests on you will increase. The increase of opposition will be paired with an increase of God’s presence and power upon those who will not waver.

One sentence to remember

Your mouth is a shofar—declare the Word, release peace, and put chaos under your feet.

Final exhortation

We are being called into a season of greater assignment. Whether or not everything manifests in one calendar year, the set-up for a larger move is underfoot. Train for the harvest. Prepare the people who are saved. Use your voice as a trumpet. Root yourself in Scripture, prayer, and community. And do not be surprised by intensifying deception. Expect both darker nights and brighter mornings—both will come, and both serve God’s larger plan.

Take hold

Stand firm. Keep refining your inner life. Be quick to forgive and quick to speak God’s truth. If you have been pressing for more of God, persist—He hears you and He’s preparing something majestic. We are not being called away from the battle but into greater effectiveness within it.

We will close this season with communion and by declaring these promises over one another. Go into 2026 expecting mercy, testimony, protection, and a sharpened assignment. Rise up, remnant. The Lord is calling you to be His honor guard.
