Romans 31

SBC Family,

Last time in our review and walk through we used a chart and got up to Rom 7:17. This is so important I want to finish this walk through from 7:17-8:17. I’m confident it is very valuable. So many people have commented how this section has either changed the way they thought about sanctification or helped tremendously, so we need to spend the time here. Living the Christian life is as close as it gets to where the rubber meets the road.

I’ve re-worked the slide backgrounds because some really professional people have pointed out the poor background choices for slides. Hopefully tonight will be an improvement over the past. I don’t want to blind your eyes with stark white backgrounds and things like that. I’m trying to improve things at the advice of others who know much better. I need that kind of constructive criticism. My goal is to reach people and not cause a distraction or present anything less than “excellent” (Gk. Αρετή).

Next week we will go on into 8:18-39 where Paul looks at glorification, a subject he has already began to transition to in 8:11, 12, 17. This is an awesome book!
