Authorities in Alabama are continuing an urgent search for 5-year-old Johnathan Everett Boley, who was reported missing from the Jasper area of Walker County on December 31, 2025. The child was last seen near a rural property along Highway 195, sparking a large-scale search involving local deputies, state law enforcement, air support, and emergency management teams.

According to officials, Johnathan was in the care of his father at the time he disappeared and was scheduled to be returned to his mother later that day. During the investigation, deputies discovered explosive materials on the property, temporarily halting search efforts due to safety concerns. The child’s father has since been taken into custody on explosives-related charges. Authorities have not publicly named him as a suspect in the child’s disappearance.
