Turning Point USA (TPUSA) has become the most influential conservative organization for young people in America… but is its strategy strengthening conservatism, or actually undermining it?

In this video, I examine how TPUSA’s shift toward viral outrage, performative culture war politics, and the blending of religious identity with political ideology may be weakening the conservative movement’s credibility, coalition-building, and long-term effectiveness.

This is not an attack on Christianity in politics or young conservatives acting in good faith. I’m a conservative Christian myself. This is a strategic and philosophical critique rooted in conservative principles: limited government, personal responsibility, persuasion over pressure, and serious governance.

I also explain why my background as a survivor of psychological manipulation informs how I analyze political movements, especially those that rely on emotional activation, identity signaling, and spectacle over substance.
