Suno - Pirate Wench Shenanigans

This funny little song is, of course, the classic kind of joke in which the punchline is that pretty much everyone falling prey to a certain scam is also involved in running that same scam. I got the idea of wanting Suno to generate a rousing sea shanty for me, and having it be amusing as well as catchy. In the case of actual pirates (of the old-school kind seen during Europe's colonization of the Americas), a common belief was that sailors having women aboard their ship would bring them bad luck; which didn't stop some pirate crews from bringing their favorite wenches aboard disguised as "cabin boys" however...

Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Men who sail on the sea so wide,
Pirates with secrets to hide:
Cabin boys, their secret delight;
Gals smuggled in by the dead of night.

[Chorus]
Heave ho, lads, don’t you know?
Cabin boys are all wenches down low!
Pirates brought them in disguise;
None saw through the others' lies.

[Verse 2]
Jolly Roger on the mast so tall;
Gals in trousers swabbing the hall;
Pirates hope luck won't get worse
So their wenches don't bring a curse.

[Chorus]
Heave ho, lads, don’t you know?
Cabin boys are all wenches down low!
Pirates brought them in disguise;
None saw through the others' lies.

[Verse 3]
Cabin "boys" who blush and fawn,
Each knowing they are a con;
Stowaways with curls and grace
Hide their shame without a trace.

[Chorus]
Heave ho, lads, don’t you know?
Cabin boys are all wenches down low!
Pirates brought them in disguise;
None saw through the others' lies.

[Verse 4]
Captain fierce with a secret plan:
She’s a woman, not a man!
First mate—her loyal groom—
Stays on guard to prevent their doom.

[Bridge]
How the winds do howl with glee
At the farce on the open sea!
A secret kept in each man's heart:
None from his wench can stay apart.

[Instrumental]

[Chorus][x2]
Heave ho, lads, don’t you know?
Cabin boys are all wenches down low!
Pirates brought them in disguise;
None saw through the others' lies.
