When Two Republicans Put Optics Above Nevada Homeowners

I want to be clear about this. This was not Republicans as a whole. This came down to two Republicans.

No matter how many people tried to explain the consequences, those two kept doubling down. Not because the policy worked. Because the tagline sounded good. They wanted Republicans to say they were addressing corporate home buying.

They did not want to talk about the real outcome. They did not want to talk about how SB10 would damage Nevada’s housing market. The facts did not change their position.

This was about controlling the narrative, even if the policy caused harm. That is what frustrated me the most. Two people nearly pushed Nevada into a serious crisis because messaging mattered more than results.

Policy is not a slogan. One bad bill pushed by two people can still cause real damage.
