And today I want to talk about something that came into sharp focus for us during that move — how we define assets. In this video, I share a few personal thoughts on preparedness, what I’ve come to see as real assets, and how I’m choosing to move forward into 2026 — grounded, aware, and calm.

After a major move across provinces, I had the opportunity to slow down and reflect on preparedness in a very real, practical way — not from headlines or theory, but from lived experience.

This isn’t about fear or reacting to noise.
It’s about stability, adaptability, and thinking clearly when things feel uncertain.

I touch on how my understanding of “assets” has shifted beyond money and material wealth, and why skills, mindset, practical preparedness, and community matter more than most people realize.

Being prepared doesn’t mean living in fear.
And being aware doesn’t mean carrying the weight of everything at once.
