I Was Told "I Wasn’t Good Enough”… Here’s My Response

In this episode, Tom responds to a comment left on a recent post that read:
“I was told all my life I wasn’t good enough and I should just give up playing music… nah, I’m good.” Oddly enough, the original comment was later deleted — but the message behind it still matters.

Tom opens up about the challenges he’s faced since picking up the guitar at 19, including people who tried (and still try) to convince him he wasn't/isn't good enough. Like most musicians, he’s learned that developing thick skin is part of the journey — especially when it comes to learning, practicing, writing, and finally putting out your own music.

This is a reminder for every creative out there:
You won't be everyone's cup of tea — and that’s okay.
The only validation that truly matters is internal.
