Self-Destruction of Sword Blast

When I finally sat down to make the adjustments it really didn't take long.
So just like the original game, the sword blast lasts a couple seconds then disappears.
A couple things to work on next include:
1 - the tool menu
2 - the heart meter and other user interface
3 - collision detection

I have not made a complete game before.
Not unless you count the 3D ball and coins I made a video of for YouTube.
I was led through that step by step following a tutorial from Unity.
This on the other hand is all me.
I just ChatGPT every so often if I hit a wall figuratively speaking.
The goal isn't just to recreate retro games.
It's all about learning, then proving I'm capable.
Heck, proving that anyone is capable if they're interested and have access to information.
I don't have a formal training other than desktop publishing which my government restricted. That's what a socialist government does. It steps in and tells schools what they can teach. Especially if that does a huge disservice to the students. That's what these bureaucrats like. Don't ask me why. Of course now it's pretty obvious that the label of "invalid" which was ascribed to me is ridiculous, and a shameful bureaucratic method of justifying the denial of employment services.
I've walked entire days.
I cut my own hair.
I've taught myself to build PCs.
I've taught myself to draw.
I've taught myself to rig and animate 3D models.
I've taught myself to do all kinds of things.
who's inept? Me? I'd say the system is inept when it comes to using our tax dollars to apply to solutions.
I'm still alive!
I had endured police harassment for years.
I learned about our corrupt system and how it's impossible for the average person to get any form of meaningful resolution or justice.
It's all a stupid game.
I don't have time for petty nonsense.
I'm into video games as a way to create interactive art.
That's what has always fascinated me about the medium.
I got the sense that each game was its own distinct world from Disney's "Tron".
I want to make interactive art.
