John Carpenter's Vampires (1998)

1998 was a big year for vampires with the release of Blade. There is however a lesser known vampire flick that is a little bit different that seems to be overlooked.

John Carpenter's Vampires steals some of the vampire lore while throwing out the rest. Gone are most of the weaknesses and in their place true killing machines. With their new higher threat level it only makes sense to counteract that with a group of foul mouthed, drinking, smoking whoremongering vampire hunters fully endorsed by the church right? Right...?
