In this [Tariffs On, Tariffs Off, Now What?] video , we're continuing our discussion on making money by trading tariffs on, tariffs off, and what comes next. Last week, we talked about trading during Trump's trade war, so feel free to refer to our strategies in that [Trading Trump’s Trade War] video . Today, we want to focus on the tariffs that were announced for Liberation Day. These tariffs caused a significant drop in the markets as we discussed in our previous video. However, on the 9th, Trump announced that most of these tariffs would be paused for 90 days. This caused a record rebound in the markets, but it's important to note that the tariffs are just paused, not completely eliminated. This 90-day window gives us an opportunity to trade while most of the tariffs are off. However, the trade war with China is still ongoing and both countries have imposed substantial tariffs on each other. Negotiations are ongoing and we have seen rebounds in international markets such as Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and Israel when news about progress in these negotiations is announced. This makes international markets an important area to watch.
