A New Beginning: Embracing Blessings

As the Gregorian calendar turned to 2026, I was reminded of the unique blend of Peace and Chaos that life often brings. Living in a quiet, remote part of my small town, I woke up yesterday to a serene morning. A fresh cup of coffee and a healthy breakfast set the tone, while my morning prayers brought a sense of Gratitude. In a delightful twist of fate, I opened my Bible to Leviticus 25, diving into the concept of Jubilee—what a perfect start to the new year!

I always think what one does in New Beginnings is a Microcosm of the Macrocosm of any adventure or deed. Like a portrait of possible events in the future. Instead of my intent, I watch the intent of the day as it unfolds and whispers it's story, naturally. So more of this first day.

After some thoughtful study, I enlisted the help of a young friend to tackle the snowy aftermath outside. I have been shoveling alone for weeks. Better to have help. Together, we cleared the yard, preparing it for the birds and deer, creating a Harmonious atmosphere that felt like a warm hug from nature. Lunch was a cozy affair with tea and YouTube, and everything felt just right.

But then, the calm was shattered by a loud Bang! I jumped up looking for the source. Rushing outside, I witnessed the fresh scene of a car accident—an all-too-familiar scene of chaos. One Man was devastated, his brand-new 2026 car crumpled, not a week old and in need of a tow, while a young Woman stood shaking beside her older vehicle, stuck in a snowbank but Miraculously unharmed. I couldn’t help but reach out to her, offering comfort amidst the turmoil.

As emergency vehicles arrived, the once-peaceful scene morphed into a flurry of activity, reminding me of the unpredictability of life. Yet, once the chaos subsided, I found my Peace again, reflecting on Psalm 91, which speaks of abiding in GoD's Grace and finding shelter under His wings.

This New Year is a reminder that while life may bring unexpected challenges, we can always retreat to our inner sanctum of Peace. Find and rely on The Most High, Psalm 91: 1 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust."

Just like the contrast of my day, 2026 holds the promise of fresh Starts and divine Protection. Let’s embrace it with open Hearts, trusting in Grace as we navigate the journey ahead. Here’s to New Beginnings!
