For A New Nobility - For Future Generations ep. 46 w/ BJ Newman

Once upon a time, in a land not so very far away and still reverently remembered, there lived giants. They were not giants of stature, but giants of mind and might. They were kings, all of them, though many were merely gentlemen or petty lords. They were the landed aristocracy, the de-facto nobility, and they were born to duty; a duty to protect, to preserve, and to care for that which they held in tenancy from their Creator. They were nobles, and they were obliged to their own, be that the land or it's folk. It may be a cold winter, and the crops may have failed, but the nobles, that lineage of kings were entrusted to see that their people survived. Were there a sickness broken out among the peasants? The nobles would see to it that the infirm were cared for be they ever so poor. Theirs was a life of riches and plenty, yes, but it was a life of obligation as well.
But whatever became of these men? Where did they go? Did God come down in a chariot and whisk them all away to the heavens? Were they mercilessly slaughtered by some marauding hoard? What has happened to our societies' elites, that they no longer resemble these knights of yore in neither temperament nor courage? Can a new nobility emerge out of the self seeking liberalism that has taken over our world?
BJ Newman joins us to ruminate on these subjects, and forecast our predictions for the future.
