Bank Filming Detainment: A widely circulated body cam video shows Officer Holland and others detaining a man for filming on a public sidewalk near a bank. The officers claimed he was trespassing on bank property, but a police captain later arrived on the scene to review the law and the officers' actions. Auditors have alleged that Holland "illegally detained" the individual and failed to respect his rights as a journalist.
Sandpoint/Travers Park Incident: In November 2025, Officer Holland was involved in serving a trespass notice to a citizen at Travers Park during a peaceful protest. Critics have accused her of "trampling" on constitutional rights and participating in what they described as a "police state" environment.
