A Little Princess

A Little Princess tells the story of Sara Crewe, a wealthy, imaginative girl sent to a London boarding school where she's treated like a princess by the indulgent headmistress, Miss Minchin, until tragedy strikes, leaving her penniless and forced into servitude in the attic. Despite harsh conditions and cruelty, Sara uses her inner strength, imagination, and belief that "every girl's a princess" to maintain her dignity and kindness, eventually discovering her father's fortune was never lost, leading to a happy ending with the help of a secret benefactor.
