Note: Very rare but excellent episode that was never on Larry Koehn's website nor anywhere. Special Thanks to Youtuber, "bornjaded" for finding this on his recording.

Gene Siskel & Roger Ebert reviews "Desperado" (Not the name of the "Eagles" song. But an action film followed up to producer, writer and director, Robert Rodriguez's first film, "El Mariachi" as sort of a remake/sequel to the original with a bigger budget, incredible style with stunts and action scenes, some romantic moments, great story, wonderful direction and an excellent cast! Starring: Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin, Danny Trejo, Steve Buscemi, Quentin Tarantino and Joaquim de Almeda.); "Dangerous Minds" (Despite of the hit song, "Gangsta's Paradise" by the late, great rapper, "Coolio" and Michelle Pfeiffer's great performance, it's a weak formula picture of a Blackboard Jungle inner city High School drama we have seen many times before like "Stand and Deliver", "Lean on Me", "Class of '84 and '99" and "The Principal".); "Mortal Kombat" (No doubt about it, it's still the best live-action Video Game Adaptation ever made from director, Paul W.S. Anderson. Based on the franchise by Ed Boon and John Tobias. Better than "Street Fighter", "Double Dragon" and even "Super Mario Bros." live-action versions. It has awesome chronography, incredible martial arts, dazzling special effects, amazing production and location and a great cast. Starring: Christopher Lambert, Robin Shou, Linden Ashby, Bridgette Wilson, Talisa Soto and the late, great Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.); "Beyond Rangoon" (A Biographical Drama from director, John Boorman. A story about an American Women who tour in the country, Burma during a dangerous political uprising. Starring: Patricia Arquette, Frances McDormand, Spalding Gray, Victor Slezak and Adelle Lutz.);
"Clive Barker's Lord of Illusions" (A Magical, Gory and Gruesome Horror Mystery about a private eye detective finding the clues on the disappearance of a powerful magician. From writer/director, Clive Barker. Starring: Scott Bakula, Famke Jassen and Kevin J. O'Connor.) and "The Tuskegee Airmen" (An HBO Original Movie of a biographical WWII Drama about a group African American Combat Pilots who joins to fight against the Germans and dealing with racial conflictions. Directed by Robert Markowitz. Starring: Lawrence Fishburne, Allan Payne, Malcolm Jamal-Warner, Courtney B. Vance, Christopher McDonald and John Lithgow.). And a recap of Today's program.

Recorded on WSVN 7 in Miami, Florida with Commercials intact.
