Reminds me of archeology.... when artiFacts is found to contradict the present theory... you'd figure the theory would have to be reworked due to new infomation uncovered.... however such is not the case.... the new information (artiFacts) is throw to the wayside in order to maintain the theory.... probably the reason why there is so much "unknown" and also "impossibles" in the field of archeology/history/evolution..................... it would appear the same pattern is exhibited in multiple if not all field of knowledge....

If one wishes to be a "rebel" and press on with new information (artifact, tangible evidence, provable repeatable experiments) and write a scientific paper in regard and publish.... one can kiss their job goodbye and their career as they will make sure the "rebel" does not work again in that field. Case in point the entire covid fiasco... the ones challenging the prevalent narrative were shunned... ostracized.... lost their job and perhaps even their career

What happened to the pursuit of truth???? the everlasting quest.... that childlike curiosity..... the journey into the unknown to discover new and exciting things....
