I Think I'm Going Bald is a song by the Canadian rock band Rush, released on their 1975 album Caress of Steel. The lyrics reflect on aging, the loss of youthful ideals, and the compromises made in life. The song begins with the narrator noticing hair loss (Alex was concerned about losing his hair) and aging, contrasting past dreams with present realities. Additionally, the song "I Think I'm Going Bald" by Rush was inspired by a playful response to Kiss's 1974 song "Goin' Blind".
Geddy Lee explained that the band, while touring with Kiss in the mid-1970s, was jokingly riffing on the title of Kiss's ballad, creating their own humorous take with the line "I think I'm going bald".
This line originated from Neil Peart, who was poking fun at guitarist Alex Lifeson's persistent anxiety about hair loss, even though Lifeson was not actually balding at the time.
Lifeson was known to experiment with various substances on his scalp in an attempt to prevent hair loss.

These videos are created to promote the Caress of Steel album, of which I consider to be one of the best albums created.
