I found myself inside an abandoned apartment when a violent explosion blew open a window and knocked me backward. After regaining my footing, I went through my emergency bag as chaos unfolded around me. Then I witnessed a powerful earthquake in Saint Louis, followed by the unimaginable—Yellowstone erupting. The overwhelming feeling was that the United States itself was under siege.
