021 1 Samuel 21:1-15 (1st Samuel Studies)

In this chapter, David runs from Saul by going to Nob for sustenance and sword. He will then flee to Gath and feign madness before King Achish. It's a strange but necessary bit of background information for what we will see take place in the next chapter.
