EUROPE ON THE BRINK OF WAR?

Russia is preparing itself and taking Western demands for military readiness seriously. Parliament recently debated reclassifying the “special operation” as total war. Between 650,000 and 750,000 reservists have been called up, of whom 300,000 to 400,000 are likely to remain on active duty. There are 750,000–800,000 soldiers in Ukraine. Together, that's over a million combat-ready men, from Kherson to Belarus.
