On an unrelated note about the even smarter smart meter, the maintenance guy told me this morning that the outlet nearest my fridge was the only one that could be reset of the 2 that stopped producing current. I wasn't going to report the issue at all, but functioning outlets was something specified in the nature of the upcoming HUD inspection. No, I'm not Section 8, but this complex does receive subsidies for low income and otherwise disadvantaged tenants.

I'm SOL on the bathroom outlet. Is it a coincidence that the apartment complex announced a "renters' perk" of 10% off at a nearby salon? No. That and the bathroom outlet's non-functionality are part of a crony effort to boost the cosmetology lobby.

Do you realize how long it takes to trim simply the sides and back of one's head with scissors? The top doesn't matter that much because nothing of any consequence shows. If it DOES show enough that somebody notices and reacts in any way, that serves to eliminate toxic people from The Baldy Life. I bet Larry David might consider starting a magazine with me under that name. I love that episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" where Larry accused the Halloween prankster girls of a hate crime for spraying "F You, Baldy!" on his house.
